Lesley graduated from Emperors’ College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with honors in 1987, and received her Masters in Oriental Medicine in 1990. Since then, Lesley has completed many courses of study in health care and combines these specialties in her practice.
Lesley has also been using NAET-Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique for patients with food and chemical sensitivities. Tapas Acupressure Technique® (TAT), an energy psychology technique, has been proven very effective for relieving stress, traumatic physical/emotion/sexual abuse, the effects of Post Traumatic Disorders (PTSD) and weight loss maintenance in a simple and effective way.
Lesley has studied extensively with Tapas Fleming, founder of TAT since 1994 and is both a Certified Practitioner and Trainer of TAT. In 2004, Lesley began studying Sound Therapy with Acutonics co-founder, Donna Carey. The Acutonics Tuning Fork System integrates Eastern and Western science, medicine, mysticism, and music to connect acupuncture, acupressure, and trigger points with the Music of the Spheres. In Sound Therapy, a vibrating fork is activated, vibrates, and then applied to the body at acupuncture points creating a gentle, non-invasive way of harmonizing and healing the body.
Using her knowledge of alternative healing techniques and her experience as an acupuncturist, Lesley combines her many healing modalities to create harmony in body, mind and spirit. She works together with her patients both young and old, helping them with various ailments including low back pain, sinus pain, headaches, kidney stones, shoulder and elbow problems, ADD/ADHD, autism, allergies, nerve damage, tumors, infertility, emotional issues and stress, to name just a few.
