Considering acupuncture treatments may be stressful for many people. With this in mind, we would like to reduce some measure of stress and hardship that may be associated with the financial component.
Many insurance companies include acupuncture as part of their covered procedures. Our practitioners are contracted with several insurance companies, including Kaiser, Cigna, United Health Care, Blue Shield / Blue Cross, Aetna and others.
We are happy to bill your insurance company for you, and when covered, we will receive payment directly from your carrier. They will pay us after your deductible is met and only if the policy covers our services. You may be liable for a co-payment, depending on your coverage. Co-pay is due at the time services are rendered.
As coverage changes and companies expand or contract their reimbursements, please check with the front desk. In some cases, when we can not verify your insurance coverage, such as during weekend or late afternoon appointments, we may ask you to pay for your visit, and we will provide you with a super bill so that your insurance company can reimburse you directly.
We look forward to having you as a client. When you book your appointment, that time will be set aside especially for you. We ask that you kindly give at least 24 hours notice if you will not be able to keep your appointment time. We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments or those not cancelled within 24 hours.
